Facebook's IPO has been long anticipated, but veterans of other startups that have gone public say the period after could be fraught with new challenges. One such person is engineer Baloun, who joined the social network in 2005 and left just over a year later to start his own online network for commodities-futures traders, funded by a tidy package of stock options. It failed and Baloun laments that he could have made a lot more money if he had stayed at Facebook. But he is philosophical, saying that the equity windfall gave him the cushion to do new things. Cruise has confirmed he's juiced up for a follow-up to his 1986 smash hit "Top Gun." "We're working on it," Cruise told MTV News. "I hope we can figure this out to do it again," he added. Cruise said that he has been talking to director Tony Scott about the project, and they're trying to hammer out a storyline. Verizon 4G LTE flickers for a day, but should be working again
Thu, 08 Dec 2011 17:10:11 +0100 Since late Tuesday, some users of Verizon’s 4G LTE network have complained that they’ve been bumped down to 2G and 3G service in areas where they normally receive 4G. This is a relatively small issue, as those affected could still make calls and do some browsing, albeit at a much slower speed, but Verizon quickly responded, said it was investigating the issue, and now claims that it has been resolved.
